Sons And Lovers

Sons and Lowers (1913) is a famous and higly autobiographical novel by D.H. Lawrence (1885-1930), an English writer of the 20th century. Considered as Lawrence's arliest masterpiece, the novel tells the story of Paul Morel, a young man and a budding artist and follows his growth into manhood in a British working-class family. It is both an evocative portrayal of working-class life in a mining community and an intense study of family, class and sexual relationships.
